Should i use xbox or ps controllers?

I like playing lego games and i was wondering if its better to play controller games in general with xbox or ps controllers? I used to love the feel of the xbox 360 controller as a kid and i have been using ps controllers since then and now im wondering if i should use a modern xbox controller to play games?

On Steam or more generally, PC; Xbox. PS controllers work via what amounts to Xbox controller emulation.

Myself still using a (wired) Xbox360 controller and it tends to work without a hitch in all games with controller support.

Just on steam. so the xbox 360 controllers still work on steam?

Yap -- although I'd buy an Xbox One or Series controller if I were to buy one now.

If you go for 360 wireless over wired: a frequent mistake people make is thinking that a 360 "Play & Charge Kit" (i.e., a cable) turns a wireless controller into a wired one, but that cable is only for charging; you still need a "Xbox360 Controller for Windows" USB-receiver for the Play part.

prefer ds4's, but the build quality for me has been bad. xbone controller I got felt terrible compared to 360, bad ergonomics.

my 360 controller is so old it only works in wired mode the wireless broke
and i have a rodent problem here and the thumbstick pads are all chewed up by rodents so it feels grody to use but it still works fine

You should use whatever controller you like. I use my PS4 controller, been doing so for years now.
