If you truly only have this one account...
1. Go here https://help.steampowered.com/en/
2. Scroll down and enter the name of the game in the search bar.
3. Click on the game.
4. Select "It's not in my library"
5. Select "Restore the previously removed package to my account"
1. Make sure you bought it on Steam.
2. If bought from Steam according to the receipt, the receipt will contain your private account name. Compare that to the private account name to the account you're using right now.
Keep in mind that your public profile name is not your account name and should never be posted in a public user forum like this one.
have you bought a shady key that is revoked?
have you bought a non steam version?
This would generate an account alert that is not easy to miss.
I searched my email, and it only comes up with gog.com advertisements. no other advertisement for cyberpunk at all. this is weird as I get all kinds of game spam in emails. But all cyberpunk was only gog.com. nothing else. but it is not in my gog library.
Also, I think I got it from AMD giveaway with some hardware I bought? anyone remember this?
I also got a free Liberty DLC recently for Cyberpunk.
Also, what installer does Cyberpunk use? Like Rockstar games I get through Steam always use the Rockstar app to install. same for ubisoft and others.
but no shady keys. I have owned the game for a couple of years.
I only noticed it as I built a new gaming rig for Cities Skylines II, so I copied all of my Steam games from the Common folder, then I installed them one-by-one, with each one only verifying my game files, then they launch fine. But when I got to Cyberpunk, it was missing in my library. It had two separate install folders. Cyberpunk 2077 and Liberty.
Hopefully I can figure this out.
I get to step 4 is all.
Then it says, "Contact Steam Support" and "I have a different issue with this product"
Every time I search for Cyberpunk 2077, I only get advertisements from GOG.COM
I got the Liberty DLC for free one day. It is what made me look into my games as I didn't buy the Liberty DLC.
I checked my emails and nothing on purchases. Comcast is notorious for auto deleting emails and it seems it was deleted. I was hoping to sign into Cyberpunk's publishers launcher and try to see if the game is there.
I don't know what you mean?
Your account name is in the text you copied.
That's something that should only be known to you, not random people on the forums. You should remove it.
Remember this?
Hmm, I checked GOG and it is not on my account there. I read that GOG is DRM Free? Does that mean that I can just run CyberPunk 2077 from my backup folders and it will run?
I have tried searching for AMD free giveaway. but I can't find that email either?
This is just really weird! Is there any other alternative for legit recovery?
