This is false.

If you want, you can submit a ticket to have the games removed.

Just follow these steps[www.pcmag.com] and you can have the ones you want removed.

Just in case people try to say this isn't true anymore here[ibb.co] is proof the option still exist. I removed my sensitive information but you can see my display name and the date.

Contact Steam Support and tell them you want games removed from your account.

This is actually false misinformation. You would do well to avoid following random links by this "Mango" person. They are well known in the steam forums for sending false and misleading information to others on purpose.

That is completely untrue and libelous.

Your comment is false and not true. I demand you prove yourself and back up your claim that I was wrong.

Removing games only "hides" the game but can be restored at any time.

Why does the option still say it's permanent?
SLG Dec 6, 2023 @ 7:07pm
It does remove it permanent. You will have to purchase it again if you want it back.

Why does the option still say it's permanent?

Because they never changed the wording when they changed the functionality to not allow purchasing the same removed products again.

People complained paying for a game 2x because they removed them. Also the few times people rage removed their entire library and needed to restore them.

And the hijackers new trolling method is to use the remove function to grief their victims. This happens a lot with CS2 Prime after giving away their account info. You can read a bit more on some of those types of hijacker trolling here...

It will prompt you to restore the game when trying to make the purchase.

Huh. I guess it's good they reworked it then.
cSg|mc-Hotsauce Dec 6, 2023 @ 8:10pm
It changed sometime in 2020 to prompt you to restore a game you are trying to purchase when you had removed it.

And not to mention that in the process to enable Family View, it will list every game on your account, including "removed" titles.

What bundle are you talking about and where is it still appearing?

Sorry, I was thinking about a situation I had with a refunded game. There were some items that removed in my library after that so I did the remove the items option.
