Change steam notification location

Why did they take away the ability to do this? I liked having my notifications pop up in the top right, a normally non-essential area in games, now it appears in the bottom right again and it tends to block some essential part for most games.

Game devs can offer this option in game if they wish to. CS2 does and I have it in the lower left corner. So, change it back in the CS2 settings menu.
