Taskbar settings not working

When I select "exit steam" in the taskbar settings, it doesn't show.
I can close the window, but it doesn't close the app (in the taskmanager is doesn't close)

Terrible UI. Which keeps getting worse with every version.

My taskbar icon doesn't even show the exit option any more.. or any of the options except starting recent games... if I go to interface settings for taskbar preferences and toggle one of them off and on again, then they show up like they should - until I restart Steam the next time..

I found out that it is probably connected to "family view"
Not sure who thought it was a good idea to remove that option when sharing = "ON"

It apparently was Family View. They put out a patch in the beta for it...

And Family View is not the same feature as Family Sharing.
