Cant sign in its stuck loading on "Loading user data" any fixes?

just played a game of cs normally and then my internet went offline apparently and disconnected and now when ever i open steam it just stays stuck on the loading user data screen and constantly spinning but nothing happends. I've restarted pc and tried running as admin and also reset password but nothing is working. Anybody had this before?

Literally same issue, it worked fine 3hrs ago then i restarted PC, and same as you endless 'loading user data'
Lets see if anyone got a solution, i tried restarting pc and installing steam again on top of the already existing one....didnt work

Seems we are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bro mine just wont work i also just reinstalled steam and still not working. Strange as ive never had this issue before and i can sign in on chrome completely fine just not on the actual program on pc desktop

hmm...could be a local issue? , im in the UK and my phones network carrier had issues with signal all day, could be the same issue affecting some steam portal that we supposed to be connecting to....IDK, but hope they sort out the problem by tomorrow

You have the same issue bro? Im from the uk and still not able to log in but cant find a fix anywhere so im guessing its on their end but its not affecting everyone as i can talk to friends on steam on chrome signed in but just not on the actual program

I am having a problem once i get in it is really laggy in game. it freezes up an sound static, any ideas ? Is it overloaded servers or internet?

i wish i could play any games lol i cant even get to my libary to play anything since its stuck spinning on this loading user data ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Running into this issue now... Uninstalled steam to see if it would fix and it did not. What is going on?

Pretty sure its something on steam ends but it doesn't affect everyone as ive got friends on steam completely fine. But there is alot of us in the comments here with the same issue.. so think we just got to wait it out

Yea I have friends online too which is getting annoying because nothing has been said about this from steam.
