Now Crysis being Crysis itsmore likely the game will just outright run at 10fps because that's just how their games are like. But a 1gbps connection isn't going to fix that

Ideally you need less than 100ms for a good experience.
However to answer your question - your internet connection is more than enough.
But like I said - timing is key - not bandwidth.
If your strictly single player - then you got nothing to worry about.
Also be advised some ISP's throttle - so your download may be a bit slower than expected - if it is - let it run over night.
You should be just fine either way.
If a game really relies on bandwidth I would expect them to put it in the hardware requirements.
People always confuse Bandwidth with "Speed" in terms of multiplayer.
Its an age old problem.
Not unlike volts vs amps.
