Where did Family View go?

Family View is gone. I just noticed my son's account has access a a bunch of games from my account that I blocked through Family view on his account. There is no option for Family View either. The feature is completely gone. Did Valve seriously remove Family View feature?

my son's account has complete full access to everything Steam offers, like the store including able to se the porn games, the forums, buy games, use chat, everything he has access to now when before he didn't have access to the store, chat, forums.

Hmm...it's still working for me and I see the option where it's always been. Perhaps restart the client? Not really sure beyond that.

It used to be in the Family tab in the settings, it is completely gone now. Where are you seeing it?

Restarting the client and the PC didn't change anything.

*edit* Steam is being very slow on the automated check for artwork -_-. But it just shows settings > Family > Family View

ok, found out that for some stupid reason Valve decided to make enabling Family View by having to do this first

Steam--> Settings --> Account --> Account Details --> Scroll down to Family Settings

set up family view from there. Then the Family view option shows up in the Family settings tab. If one disables family view, then the family view option disappears from the Family tab and they have go to Steam--> Settings --> Account --> Account Details --> Scroll down to Family Settings to set it up again.

When Valve made this change they also decided to completely remove all family view settings without warning anyone they were doing that.

Why would Valve bury the settings? and why would they remove previously set up family view without warning parents first?

Really get sick and tired of how much Steam is very family unfriendly.

I thought it was only the "hide game from friends or everyone?"

What parental controls are they changing/adding?
