You took away one of the few things the youth who live in either of those countries enjoy. Why? Because some people where changing their VPNs to countries who suffer from fragile currencies and high inflation rates to get cheaper games. "Forget about the minimum wage in those countries! Increase the prices!"

Worst part is that, neither Argentinian nor Turkish players could do anything about it. What some people suggest on the internet is funny to be honest. Turks for instance, should "lash out to their own goverments not Steam." as if that'd work. What are they supposed to, go to jail for protesting? Millions of them already voted for a change and it didn't work.

We know that, it's not your fault that both countries have terrible economies. Yet, this change was like a hit from above.

you are gonna get anger from people who abused the system countless times to purchase games cheaply, now that they have to spend full price to get them of course they are gonna be upset.

i deal with the same anger in the form of forum blow back when i expose things that go on within the forum, its no different, i believe a scam is a scam and should be put to a stop

also iturkey is a peaceful and cohabited region , it is not a barbaric government and the likeliness that if it was you would already be in prison is extremely high.

it's not a North Korea or anything. but man only if some people could know the brain drain the country suffers from. So many young Turks want to leave, because they're not happy and they don't see a bright future. Sadly a lot of them can't because of economical and political issues.
