Who can recommend the toughest Puzzle Games?

I'd like to know if there are any really difficult puzzle games or riddle-solving games. Originally I didn't play these games, but as I've gotten older I think I've come to want to put my intellect to the test and solve difficult puzzles or riddles.

So far I've only found fairly simple games that don't challenge my powers of mind.

I think the only time I pondered a problem for several days was when I had to find a way to get a character in Umineko out of his room, and also the choice scene in Higurashi.

Apart from that, I've very often found the solution to each problem in a relatively short space of time, and that bores me.
If any nice people have high-level intellectual games to share, that would be great.

I really loved this one, it hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as it should for how good it is. It might not be "hard as nails" but it will be a decent challenge at least, especially later on. In addition to puzzles, there are some riddle elements as well.

Their other game English Country Tune is also pretty difficult, although not as hard as SSR, looks nice, has a lot of variety in the puzzles and it's cheap! I really enjoyed it:

That looks a lot better for sure. I tried SSR but I was put off by how it looks before I could be put off by its difficulty.

I don't think Hexcells is that hard, it's comparable to sudoku. Still a nice game for a while tho. Enjoy your games OP :)

I can recommend Hexcells Infinite

In addition to it's predefined levels, it includes a random puzzle generator with a hard mode that can be quite challenging.
