There's also a storm near the warehouse that may delay things further.
Another reason Valve should move its headquarters to California.
Valve has a warehouse in Carol Steam, Illinois not "Bellevue, Washington" where Valve HQ is located.
Why do you keep on saying Valve HQ is in California?
........read it again.
Why TF would Valve move to California? That's gotta be one of the dumbest things I've heard.
There's no storms in California. The rest of the country is a hellscape. There's a reason 40 million people live in California--it's the best and most important state. You're welcome.
This is good for me. I live right by their warehouse then.
It's a freaking blizzard here. Everything is about destroyed, but that's UPS problem.
I have snowflakes all day about the size of a quarter.
HQ =/= warehouse
There's literally no need to move HQ there.
Plus, they have another warehouse, don't know if the Deck is ever shipped from there but the Index has been, in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
It's misleading to say 3-5 business days and on the 5th day inform me it may take another 4-8 business days to arrive.
Then not even an hour ago they lied to me and said it was shipped when in reality a label was created according to UPS but it has yet to actually ship.
This is BS i'm beyond furious. Also mine was ordered on the January 2nd for reference which was well before the storm was in full swing and is not my problem it's a logistics problem they should have been more prepared and sent out proper notice that there may have been delays.
Instead they choose to ignore it and let us get mad instead cause that's good for business right?
They never charged me shipping cost. I just noticed that. But good. After spending $700 on a console, they should be able to ship it for free.
But yea, mine says shipped now as well, but the tracking number is invalid. I didn't bother trying to contact support. I knew it would take several days before they got back to me anyway and it would just be a template response, which is about all you can expect from any large company now days.
