You already admitted that you have never installed windows 10. Perhaps it might be a good idea to just stop talking about it as if you are knowledgeable on the subject when you have never used it.
You're kind of making a fool of yourself in public here with your comments.
Then open shutup 10 and click the switches to disable it again. It literally takes 60 seconds or less. It's completely trivial and not anything worth mentioning or discussing. Also updates aren't forced or mandatory with windows 10 either like some people led us to believe. We can disable automatic updating then manually switch on updates again to run them once a month or every other month then re-disable automatic updating again (and telemetry again) then wait and turn it on again next time.
OR if you want to have it all off forever you can completely disable updates and never update anything. It's not advisable but that is an option if you prefer that. If you turn off updates forever then telemetry will never be switched on again if that's what you really want.
where does it reset... i'll check it.... i have a win 11 update yesterday...
shutup10 have suspended are still suspended...
like windows shell host and other stuff - all still suspended
a add free no bugging me computer.. i click start and just see the
programs i like.... but i dont use start for much... mainly calculator...
the rest is just a click on the taskbar or stuff i have on desktop..
Not every update resets privacy settings.
Find where I said I've NEVER used Windows 10 and come back.
Do you know how long it takes to disable telemetry on Linux? 0 seconds and therefore it's an improvement.
Baiting for clown awards on Steam doesn't work with me.
You said you haven't installed windows 10 before. Also: If you had installed windows 10 before then you would of known that what I spoke of was true and not argue it. You would of seen the "Skip" option for where we enter the cd key during setup and you wouldn't of written or said the things you did. Since you did write those things then you made it obvious that you have not actually installed windows 10.
I'm not trying to get "clown awards" or any other awards. I'm also not "Baiting" for anything either. I'm sharing factual information, attempting to dispel FALSE information, and trying to help people transition from windows 7 to windows 10 for free.
Cool, so you have failed to find where I have said it so I can dispel that as garbage.
Good day to you sir.
no advertising no spam no bloat..
the only thing that was a annoying change was
how notepad worked but thats fixed again...
just checked.... i have had 20 updates since april 2023
so... another myth busted... shutup10 is great for dummies like me..
It's worth checking your installation is still working. I use ShutUp10 for my work computer and I routinely get the warning window saying that settings have been altered and I have the option to revert.
I'm also running 11 with some experimental updates to ensure when software has problems I can resolve them before my customers encounter the faulty updates.
i am using win version 22H2
and i am going to upgrade to 23H2 later today...
so that might change things... even so 20 updates no problems..
This isn't the case for me. I have no reason to lie about this.
W10Privacy also has mild changes but won't notify you of these changes.
are you reading any data articles where it shows how this
stuff is not working... or what windows is doing to reset it..
win 11 doesnt seem to be going after people using shutup10
as far as i can tell.. not like youtube going after adblockers...
different computer do different things..
if i dont comeback... thanks for the fun discussions...
all my pc breakdown anxiety is being replaced with a consistently well running computer
