I am utterly disgusted.

While browsing Steam's Discovery Queue, hoping to enjoy a gaming experience and farm some cards, I was shocked to come across blatant pornography. This is unacceptable and appalling. How can such content be allowed on a platform frequented by people of all ages, including children?

Steam prides itself as a gaming haven, yet here we are, exposed to explicit and inappropriate content without warning. This is a serious breach of trust and decency. How many more users need to be subjected to this haram filth before Steam implements a robust filtering system?

This isn't just about personal preference; it's about protecting our community's integrity and the innocence of all gamers.

Agreed, Steam is a reseller. Steam has nothing to do with this as it the publisher paid the reseller to put the product on the market.

It's country dependent rather to enable or not. In United States anything that has adult references, or a sex act is enough to put it into an "18+ adult only" category.

M rating is the video game equivalent of a Rated R movie.
AO rating is the video game equivalent of a Rated XXX movie.

Game rating is per country/region, such as ESRB, PEGI, CERO, or etc...

NA = ESRB
EU = PEGI
Japan = CERO

But issue that AO/18+ rated games are often not in plain site, and for Steam case it's off by default regerdless the rating for the game if it marked as adult game, only way to even see any games marked adult game, the end user must go out of their own way to do it via editing account own personal settings, and Steam even shows examples what type of games you see if you enable said settings as well so can't make bad assumption what it for, unless ignored it.

Yeah lots of things can be sold not for childern, but what store gonna do if the parents buying the game for them really been that way since dawn of time, and online stores they have no way of knowing whom on otherside of the screen unless do those things in the movies where you're always being watched 24/7 by a camera.
