Literal Porn Games Popping Up On Steam

I am utterly disgusted.

While browsing Steam's Discovery Queue, hoping to enjoy a gaming experience and farm some cards, I was shocked to come across blatant pornography. This is unacceptable and appalling. How can such content be allowed on a platform frequented by people of all ages, including children?

Steam prides itself as a gaming haven, yet here we are, exposed to explicit and inappropriate content without warning. This is a serious breach of trust and decency. How many more users need to be subjected to this haram filth before Steam implements a robust filtering system?

This isn't just about personal preference; it's about protecting our community's integrity and the innocence of all gamers.

Okay apparently you don't realise that you can filter this off. ALSO, if your kid sees porn, blame the parent, not the kid. Steam prides itself as a gaming haven and therefore, we also have adult games. Learn to use the filters. Also, this is not a christian store so lol...

Go to your store preferences and uncheck Adult Only Sexual Content and perhaps Frequent Nudity or Sexual Content. I keep them turned off and don't see such games, no need to view at things I'm not interested in.

Especially Adult Only is unchecked by default, so if you're seeing such games you at one point, and perhaps completely accidentally, enabled it.

Steams catalog is a gaming heaven because games for all kinds of gamers are available.

Violent FPS’ are just over exaggerations of the typical enlisted life anyways. Alot of countries have compulsory enlistment, It’s nothing new. Most adult men have to experience all this in basic. Just not as graphic.

True words. Violent games are bad for innocent gamers. But also horror games. Boobs are only bad if they are still attached to the human body. Rip them apart and it's fine. (And in case this dark joke is hard to understand. It's the difference between porn and horror)

If we really went deep into what is fine and what isn't, christians would want to ban every games out there but the fact that some cherry pick porn games as if it was the worst thing ever IS funny. There's no innocence to be had here. Lot of violence, blood and gore...

Well put. Parental responsibility is first and foremost the duty to provide a safe and healthy living environment for minors, or in other words, to protect children from the dangers of the world. Kids having access to porn, and violent war games, pretty much means parenting has collapsed altogether.

These past years Valve has actually done more than enough to make sure their business operates in a way consistent with the requirements of each and every jurisdiction in the world where they have their customers. Porn games are subject to an outright ban in Germany and Australia, for example. Same with a number of Muslim majority countries.

Why not move to Germany, Oman, Mauretania or Australia if freedom of choice means such an unreasonable and excessive demand for you? Germany especially loves to make decisions for its citizens and Islamic countries praise self-flagellation so you don't fall into sinful temptation.
