Aka you better be absolutely damn sure you want to do any refudns in the future because steam can stop abusers from making refunds
The bundle is $16 and change at GOG and $17 and change on the Steam store
That amount of money difference is hardly worth not being able to ever refund a game again.
I messaged Steam customer support about it just to be safe to see if they can refund the price difference or just refund the whole bundle manually. But they taking awhile to respond back.
It's $42 here on Steam while $27.99 on GOG. I am upset at myself for not checking the price for it on GOG. I don't know if I can safely request a refund or not so I might be screwed.
What you got is "warning stage 1", its the first warning you get from Steam if you are refunding too much for their taste.
If you now refund a few more games you will get "warning stage 2".
Which is basically a harsher warning, something like " we notice you are still refunding a lot of games, please be aware that we me refuse to grant future refunds if this pattern persists".
If you get that second warning stage you should stop refunding for a few months, it will cool down again after that.
I must have refunded around 100 games over the years and reached that second warning a few times especially during sales.
You can refund that Yakuza bundle without worry because you are still at stage 1 of the warning. ( but its still better if you stop after that for a while and especially keep a few bought games, that does help a lot with the cooldown of the warning).
Update: You turned out to be right. I managed to get a refund without my ability to request refunds being revoked. Everything end up ok.
It goes through the same process, just one area looks at just refunds and the other is General enquiries. You will end up with the same result just one involves more processes.
If you are getting the warning already no matter who handles it that will be taken into account with this refund.
