Explane, please.
Steam client use chrome engine and this is the main reason for drop old winOS support. Because chrome support only win10. Well it is clear, and I don't want to discuss it. But explane me one thing. If steam depends so much on Chrome, why is it still 32 bit?

it is 32 bit because of the way it is

It's not Chrome itself, it's CEF. That, and there's no reason to drop support for 32 bit (except on MacOS).

Explain to me how you can misspell the word explain OP ...

It doesn't matter how many arguments you make about different ways Windows 7 can be saved because at the end of the day Windows support matters more than your or anyone else's account. No security = not worth supporting.

No m8. NOo. The main reason is that the security apis, prortocols and certificates are tied to the OS by MS. Chrome and many others make use of them.

The problem is that simply. THose old security things are no longer sufficient to achieve their core function and thusly it must be deprecated to move forward and build with more secure components. SImple as.

This is why this is only affecting the windows version and not the Mac or Linux versions. although they are all more or less based on the same framework.

The chromium part of the client is 64-bit

The main client doesn't benefit from being 64-bit. It doesn't need more than 4GB of RAM to function which is the only real benefit from being 64-bit.

Main part is x64. All (almost) hardware is x64. What reason waste resources for keep x32 (legacy arch) support if need just recompile code in 64 bit.
