Never give away your credentials anywhere no matter what it is for because it's always gonna be a scam.

don't you love when they blame Steam for them falling for a scam when they gave away their information. that is what we tell every single person. NO Steam will never return your stuff why because people abused this. STOP thinking you can get things for free. if someone asks you to vote for a team or those weapon sites well you're doing it to yourself.

most of the i got scammed come from Dota players and counterstrike. except those that fall for the i reported you on accident go to discord group.

I'm sorry it happened and it sounds like it's an expensive learning opportunity.

If you do decide to trade again in the future, I strongly advise keeping updated with all the scam/phishing methods out there. It never hurts to refresh one's knowledge on these things every 20-30 days or so, just in case a new scam comes out.

Unfortunately this little action has cost you everything. Never give away your credentials anywhere outside of Steam and if someone asks you to do something like this, it is expected to be a scam and you also must consider that the person sending it i.e a friend, had their account compromised.

You literally went to a phishing site and typed in your credentials which gave them access.

Just do better. Learn. Be more responsible.

You cant give someone the keys to your house then be big surprised when that person robs you.
