The thing is, you have to remember that gaming is a subjective form of entertainment, and as such, you will never be able to have something that feels complete or pleases everyone who is playing.
I have over a thousand games in my various libraries. Not a single one is flawless, nor a "complete package". But the thing is, they don't need to be. All I care about is that they give me value for my money. The vast majority of them do, and that's all that counts.
Like CS2. We could have 128 tic servers and everyone would be over the moon with how amazing the game is. Not like valve cant afford it when they get what.. 15 MILLION dollars passive income from the steam market *ALONE*. Instead they give us some half baked 'subtic' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that just warps the game and makes wonky stuff happen like giving people much more peekers advantage and letting people shoot through walls.
Its like if I want a game to be truly great I have to literally become a coder and make it myself.
S M H.
Every game has some huge flaw. I was curious about Tarkov till I learned how its infested with hackers. Its always something.
Maybe its time to just retire this hobby and smash my computer. ♥♥♥♥ it.
Leaving the FPS genre, what about StarCraft 2? There's also racing games that can be played and are being played online. I am not familiar with that genre, I'm sure a bit of research would yield good results though.
SC2's microing multiple units aint for me lols. Thats why I play dota because theres only 1 or 2 units to control not 500 + building + base management, etc. lols.
Im not even talking 1 single thread on the subject. Im talking multiple threads on the front page EVERY DAY for a DECADE.
At what point does this become ridiculous and embarrassing?
ESPECIALLY when this part of the game effects 100% of the people who play it.
I've mentioned SC2 because it's the most popular RTS AFAIK, not the only one.
Feedback isnt offensive. True friends give feedback to each other.
Answer the question, though. People complain about the same issue for multiple times per day for A DECADE: Do you fix the problem or just let them talk into the wind?
So people who do an activity have opinions that dont mean anything?
What a weird point of view.
Lol where else would this point of view make sense?
Hey chef, I ate your sammich but this could be improved:
"NEENER NEENER I CANT HEAR YOUUUUUU"
Feedback is literally how things get better. Feedback helps a lot. Thats why people who are your friends give feedback. And when someone NEVER gives you feedback they are probably a ♥♥♥♥ friend.
Feedback has never and will never be offensive or rude. Sure you can give feedback in a poor way but its still obviously better to have people give feedback than pretend NO ONE has a valid opinion OR good ideas so long as they just play your game.
ESPECIALLY when the devs at valve are saying things like 'wut do you mean high refresh rate monitors matter for FPS games, are you sureeee that matters'? Like.. how clueless can a dev be? lol.
Pretty much applies to literally everything in life. There's a reason talk doesn't get ANYTHING done in any aspect of life.
Laws, policies, engineering. Talk doesn't change them. Hell most of them don't change unless they affect someones bottom line because people aren't paying or people start dying.
You can not like it, but thats how the world works.
