Unprofessional, arrogant, ignorant, disrespectful moderation and steam support

They accuse people of breaking Steam rules but they do not provide a proof of it.
When they are challenged about it, they pretend that they verified correctness of their actions.
In other words, they make unsubstantiated claims and they think that they are substantiated because they say so.
This is a typical behaviour that shows a lack of good sense or judgement, i.e., stupidity.

literally the entire issue is there is a group of people thanks to a past dispute spaming reports on sight. i reported several posts because thats what steam wants and the post where overtly combative harassing and derailing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they not only just tried to ban me for but just did an appeal for. they just ignore these clowns and these clowns just report everything on sight.

ive said this before but ive had several times where i reported people and got the ban and they qouted the person i reported in the ban. the one guy was literally editing qoutes to put words in peoples mouth and it was clearly a good report and they banned me for reporting it. i had to appeal it and they gave the guy 1 day for literally trying to cause problems and editing qoutes to put words in peoples mouth.

im making posts like this and getting 3-7 days.

wtf would i not complain about ♥♥♥♥♥♥ moderation even if they fix it wtf. why did it even happen. agian its them just being lazy and not even reading the posts.

I can understand that, I too can respect that.

I do hope you find what you’re looking for in this. I’m sorry things are difficult right now. I know people can sometimes not see eye to eye and things can be very frustrating at best with everyone’s differences or perceived differences. I will say people can take it to far at times, them, you, me. Even though you may be right on the matter, what is the point flaunting it here? I mean I completely sympathize with you because I can relate at times. But people will not change their minds often these days or any days of the past because to admit wrong is to admit broken pieces in one’s armour. Not saying you, not saying them, just in general. People here are not the people to confide in for the excess difference you have with steam moderation or steam policy. I agree that there should be common space to have those discussions free of emotion but that is not likely here..

Not sure what you think that "exposing" will achieve. Nobody from Valve, Steam Support or the company that does moderation will care about it. They'll probably will lock the thread eventually, likely for unconstructive talk between people. Your account will also not get closed for threads like these, that's just nonsense.

What you might want to consider is how much energy you want to spend in all of this over a forum ban. Is it really worth it? Serious question, btw.

They don't ban you from the forums for reports. They only ban you being able to submit reports.

So it's impossible you got a forum ban from submitting reports.

I understand that mate, but the thing you are doing here is packing this against other users who had nothing to do with all of it. The place to make this case is with Steam support. Not in the forums. You’re only going to either get ill informed people or people that know what they’re talking about but cannot do anything about it, of which some from both may agree with you and some won’t. At best the only thing you’d get is closure from here, at worst you’ll get people bashing you because reasons. I mean I am here to tell you I sympathize I do truly, but there are better ways to seek help mate. I genuinely mean that.

In one of previous comments I linked the old thread. I mentioned there that the majority of the masses are indoctrinated and brainwashed out of logic and reason.
Those people are not a problem to me at all.
Also I do not seek any help. Bad apples failed and they are affected by such threads.

This is annoying maybe but I don’t think he’s doing it with the intent to spam. I genuinely think he’s just trying to make his point understood and at times that does involve repeating a bold statement. I will say however that I don’t like when someone quotes a great as though that immunizes them from fair deduction of their words.

I also don’t like the pile on mentality that people have when these things come up. I think people should give him some space. Seems like he is genuinely upset and regardless of right or wrong he feels wronged. I just think he needs time to process everyone processes things differently.

There's never a goal beyond wanting to be heard. An ego was bruised and instead of finding a more mature and methodical way of dealing with it, they resort to announcing their displeasure to anyone who will give them an audience.
