Unprofessional, arrogant, ignorant, disrespectful moderation and steam support
They accuse people of breaking Steam rules but they do not provide a proof of it.
When they are challenged about it, they pretend that they verified correctness of their actions.
In other words, they make unsubstantiated claims and they think that they are substantiated because they say so.
This is a typical behaviour that shows a lack of good sense or judgement, i.e., stupidity.

"The ego is strong. They can’t just talk and think critically and be willing to be wrong, or willing to admit they were wrong. It’s all about ego and feelings now. Shouting matches. Etc. we live in a world of immaturity and superficiality."

FAO others
Yes, I know that they think of themselves being "sacred cows" and nothing can be done about it. No matter how idiotic they are.

I like how this thread is justifying support's decision.

I like how this thread proves that fan boys of culprits do not have valid arguments.

Again. I did not get an answer. Sending unrequested stuff is not a solution to an issue.
Bring valid arguments next time.

Mate chill. Just because you don’t see the validity in someone’s point doesn’t make it nonsense, just means maybe there is an angle you’re not seeing or understanding. To say as you said can and does to me at least seem offensive. I know you’re trying to defend yourself from what at times may seem like a mob but maybe there is a reason for that? And not everyone is here just to offend you, they might genuinely be trying to get you thinking on what it is you’re saying.

Maybe so. But that doesn’t mean we have to be unprofessional as well..

Maybe just sit this one out mate. Let it go. What do you actually think will change?

Seems over with. Just put it to bed.

There is nothing to sit out as an unsubstantiated ban was for like 24hrs only. And I just requested a proof from them or an apology for their mistake.
Not to mention I informed them to not send me any generic/automated response.

I never asked them to unban me. Even during those 24hrs.

Ehh, I guess you are right. Much of what I see from OP's posts is "I am right, so prove me wrong". I guess it's time to leave him to his madness.

You are free to correct me if you think I am incorrect.

"Socrates is stating he would rather be corrected than have to do the correcting. Its an amazingly humble and gracious way to enter an argument, or debate, or casual discussion. Totally transformative. No longer are we corrupted by 'the need to be right' or 'the fear of being wrong' and are now together free to find the truth.

"The proper attitude in argument is expressed by Socrates:
What sort of man am I? I am one of those who would be glad to be refuted when saying a thing that is untrue, glad also to refute another if he said something inexact, not less glad to be refuted than to do it, since I deem it the greater blessing, in proportion as it is a greater good, to be released from that which is the greatest evil than to release another from it.
—Plato, Gorgias"
Socrates implying the greatest good is the removal of the greatest evil, ignorance. That is the proper definition of the 'greater good'.
The quote taken from Chapter 9 Fallacies. The winner of any argument is he who learns something and understands his opponent had it the entire time. You then can see why all mainstream argument shifts one away from a journey to the truth by entering the right/wrong paradigm. Peoples insatiable need to be right and the paralyzing fear of being wrong should never enter the process. Those are human trivialities. Cleavages."

How pretentious that one would compare themselves to Socrates when disputing an internet forum ban....

All I see is "I got a ban and Support does not agree with me, so I'm so mad I need to tell everyone."

Don't you have a video game to play? Blow off your negative energy with some CS2.

I understand that mate, but the thing you are doing here is packing this against other users who had nothing to do with all of it. The place to make this case is with Steam support. Not in the forums. You’re only going to either get ill informed people or people that know what they’re talking about but cannot do anything about it, of which some from both may agree with you and some won’t. At best the only thing you’d get is closure from here, at worst you’ll get people bashing you because reasons. I mean I am here to tell you I sympathize I do truly, but there are better ways to seek help mate. I genuinely mean that.

It is true that sometimes people can get inside their own head and even trick themselves into disconnecting with what is reality at times. I’ve been guilty of this. It just doesn’t always make it easier when the world is shoving it down their throats either… however then by his logic it is also not the worlds responsibility to be concerned with his feelings on the matter.

There is much to consider yet much to be let go here. As I’ve said my personal deduction skills say that there isn’t much to be done either way other than unsettle people.

There is no such thing as my logic.
I use logic which is already established based on reasoning.

The reason I created this thread is to show that there are bad apples among them. Imagine if those interactions with them were in real life face to face. They would be afraid to make false accusations and take actions against you.

Arguments have to be logical.
By unrequested stuff, I meant that steam support sent me something irrelevant.

And I discuss in good faith.

Nowhere I compare myself to anyone.

Anyone who thinks I am incorrect is free to correct me. So far no one is able to do this.

Yes, they can. But I have a choice too. So I chose to expose their unprofessionalism. And if they do not like it, they can completely block me from posting on their forum. But if additionally they close my account with its content attached to it, it will be a good reason to look for legal solutions to it.
Not sure what you think that "exposing" will achieve. Nobody from Valve, Steam Support or the company that does moderation will care about it. They'll probably will lock the thread eventually, likely for unconstructive talk between people. Your account will also not get closed for threads like these, that's just nonsense.

What you might want to consider is how much energy you want to spend in all of this over a forum ban. Is it really worth it? Serious question, btw.

This is annoying maybe but I don’t think he’s doing it with the intent to spam. I genuinely think he’s just trying to make his point understood and at times that does involve repeating a bold statement. I will say however that I don’t like when someone quotes a great as though that immunizes them from fair deduction of their words.

I also don’t like the pile on mentality that people have when these things come up. I think people should give him some space. Seems like he is genuinely upset and regardless of right or wrong he feels wronged. I just think he needs time to process everyone processes things differently.

In one of previous comments I linked the old thread. I mentioned there that the majority of the masses are indoctrinated and brainwashed out of logic and reason.
Those people are not a problem to me at all.
Also I do not seek any help. Bad apples failed and they are affected by such threads.
