Can I redeem Euro steam card on USD account?

Long story short I bought a steam card in euros but I am located in the US so i cannot redeem the card. What are my options besides just being out $22?

you should be able to redeem it. it will add euros converted to USD.

It says some currencies are not redeemable in certain region. Doesn't specify what regions though.
