on my steam account my email address has been changed to somebody else's email address
first of all, on my steam account i decided to have a quick look at it until i saw somebody else's email address, i'm not going to say the email address but it wasn't mine idk if my steam account is hacked or not but yeah, it said "change email address" so i clicked "change email address" and when i clicked it it sent a verification code to somebody else's email not mine, idk what to do, this account on what i'm typing is my steam account that the email address has been changed to somebody else's, is there a way to change someone else's email address back to my email address because my own email address is associated with my own account, so yeah everything else that's on my account like my phone number username account name and password is okay and it hasn't been changed yet, only my email address, so what do i do is there a way to change someone else's email address back to my own email address because my own email address is associated with my account i want it to be changed back to my associated email address before other things like my phone number and password and more gets changed, so is there a way to change somebody else's email address to my email address associated with this account or do i just have to contact steam support because the only issue i'm going through is that my own email has been changed to someone else's which i find concerning because i don't want to lose all of my steam games and achievements and everything, srry for typing a lot im just very worried, so what should if my own associated email address has been changed to some randoms email address?

You’ll likely have to contact steam support since your account has almost certainly been compromised.

You can run through steps below to ensure they no longer has access to your account/data.

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Yes, your account needs recovery- you do not have full control of it, or someone would not have been able to change your email address. That means someone has partial or full control of you account, even if they haven't fully hijacked it and taken *all* control away from you yet. You need to recover *full control* of your account before they do decide to wipe out your inventory, or delete/block all of your friends, or empty your Steam Wallet and send the items they buy to themselves.

Account recovery = recovering full and solitary control of your account. Which you obviously do not currently have.
