such way of thinking is a road to nowhere.
Just try to be more constructiv as you do not use windows 7 i know it should be very hard for you but nonetheless i can remind me some exchange we got together where you changed your mind for the good.
No need to bait people just because you want this thread closed. All you have to do is to wait 54 days and see the result.
My issue is people who think that it's okay to continue using windows 7 online as their "Daily driver" operating system. That's a very bad idea and should not be done.
So is this your concern ?
The clear answer is clearly no
What's right do you think you have to tell me what i can or can't do ?
And last advice : stop trying to bait and derail the thread ....
It is of course your choice to remain on Windows 7 and you are welcome to do so. You have to be aware that remaining on Windows 7 has consequences though.
It's not Steam forcing people off Windows 7. It's everyone who thinks they can remain on Windows 7 and use it daily that is creating the problem for themselves. They made that choice. They have to deal with the consequences of their decision.
Get over it already.
So what's the problem here ? None i guess because all of the windows 7/8 users have a red banner on top of their steam client so stop this stupid laius again and again that you're spamming everytime : it does not work with me.
Be constructiv and post interresting things ... End of exchange.
Collectively the steam community should band together and mass-report any new Windows 7 threads as spam every time we see a new one so (hopefully) the moderators will start shutting them down.
why would you do that? the main point of selling win10 to win7 people is compatibility. everyone says "don't worry all your old games will work on win10".
are they lying? do you use it to play games that would not run on win10 or you just can't let go of win7? what is the reason to keep it around along win10?
I bet your answer would prove useful to all win7 folks.
Additionally today as I see more and more programs ending support for Windows 7 this year and next year I realize I made the right choice a long time ago.
