Just try to be more constructiv as you do not use windows 7 i know it should be very hard for you but nonetheless i can remind me some exchange we got together where you changed your mind for the good.
No need to bait people just because you want this thread closed.All you have to do is to wait 54 days and see the result.

I'm not sure where you got that idea. I do use windows 7. I have a windows 7 retro computer that does not have internet access. A few days after Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 I moved my main computer to Windows 10 and built a spare computer out of spare parts to run windows 7 and play windows 7 games without access to the internet. Which is what everyone using Windows 7 should of already done a long time ago.

My issue is people who think that it's okay to continue using windows 7 online as their "Daily driver" operating system. That's a very bad idea and should not be done.

The problem here is people that remain on Windows 7 today and then expect Steam should still allow them to access the Steam client on Windows 7 when they knew already that remaining on Windows 7 means they will slowly lose access to programs over time. People who write threads like this and continue discussing it are distributing SPAM in the forums and clogging up the forums with useless, unnecessary threads.

Collectively the steam community should band together and mass-report any new Windows 7 threads as spam every time we see a new one so (hopefully) the moderators will start shutting them down.

why would you do that? the main point of selling win10 to win7 people is compatibility. everyone says "don't worry all your old games will work on win10".
are they lying? do you use it to play games that would not run on win10 or you just can't let go of win7? what is the reason to keep it around along win10?

I moved to Windows 10 because Microsoft ended support for Windows 7. No more security patches = no more using the OS. Here on windows 10 we continue getting security patches and fixes. That alone should be enough for everyone to move on.

Additionally today as I see more and more programs ending support for Windows 7 this year and next year I realize I made the right choice a long time ago.
