Workshop / Guide descriptions

Hello, I want to add some images and animated gifs to my guides/workshop descriptions.
I googled it but most of the solutions are outdated and not working anymore.

I tried to upload images or gifs to imgur, but it doesn't give me the same link other people use.

My links ends with random numbers and letters like: sdvre82 or something
But other links I checked always ends with .gif or .png.
Am I doing something wrong ?

Can someone give me a link to an updated Guide or tell me how to add picutures or Gifs to my descriptions ?
