And thank all the users who click on every link they get send and log into any 3rd party site that promises them money for their items, they are the ones who constantly get their ♥♥♥♥ stolen because if it and Valve was obviously sick of it.
Like all the security measurements on Steam that were introduced over the years, its entirely because the mass of users are apparently completely learn resistent so they get forced to be more careful like this.
Security measurements only work if you cant opt out of them, thats the sad truth.
Warranties aren't designed to prevent you from being scammed.
Valve won't add a way to disable the safety feature for the same reason you have to have Steam Guard active to be able to trade in the first place; the moment people have an option to turn a safety feature off the most gullible among them will happily do so when a scammer tells them it's necessary for a trade or to get a free item or some other fantastical deal that anyone with an IQ over freezing temperature would recognize as a scam.
Just deal with the wait period and accept that it's for the good of a whole lot of people who would otherwise make trading a living hell to navigate.
You need to learn the meaning of scam. A faulty product is a faulty product, it's not a scam unless it's intentionally faulty.
Likewise, insurance protects you from theft and damage, etc., it is not designed to prevent you from your own stupidity -- which is what this anti-scam mechanism is designed to do.
