Are you looking for Retro 8-bit, or 8-bit, music? Cause MIDI is data not sound.
All games use MIDI or MIDI wrappers. Some games will feature live music, but these are rare.
Here is a rare game that uses live recorded music:

A lot of feature musicians use MIDI and those making millions use MIDI and MIDI wrappers, as well as Auto-tune. Pretty funny when you think of the entire Hip-Hop and Pop scene using MIDI and Auto-tune. Some recording artists stay away from Auto-tune like the plague but those are the true artists.
If you like new country music (US-style), try Flame in the Flood but it is live recorded music.
" Any type of game that allows the use of MIDI instruments or MIDI files to be played in-game."
