steam support keeps sending me alerts...

but there's nothing there...

I've contacted them about it and they told me "there's no solution"... but they just keep sending me alerts like;
"OMG COMMUNITY MESSAGE!!" or "OMG REPLY TO YOUR SUPPORT TICKET!!"

they should really just stop pushing this broken update and stick with what worked... or am I the only one having non-solvable issues(and possible steam is just harassing me)?

Is this within steam or in email? Make sure it is not scam emails, it's been a prevalent thing for a while with the discord scammers, so this isn't too far out of the realm. I am not getting any weird support activity.

no idea, but it keeps happening... I've been seeing an alert that there's a steam support reply for me all day when there's no such thing.

Are you talking about an account alert or just a notification? I seem to remember people frequently complaining about un-readable account alerts, from what I've heard it has a tendency to open the window behind the other windows in the Steam client, meaning you need to minimise any other open windows and you should see it.

If you're just talking about notifications...yeah, those have been pretty broken ever since the new UI. People have been begging for Valve to fix all the new UI bugs since before it was released to the stable/normal branch. No fix in sight for any of that stuff.

If you can't get stuck notifications to go away, only thing I can suggest is clicking on the Notification bell button, then "View All" and the page it takes you to should have a button that says "Mark all as read."

Try that, and if that doesn't fix it...well, as I said, notifications have been the buggiest part of the new UI. It usually fixes that for me but it's not working for everyone. Valve should have honestly just kept this new UI in the beta client for a lot longer before releasing it to everyone. It's clearly not stable yet lol.

Yeah, this version of steam right now is really unbaked. Still holds together to launch my games so it's got a little functionality. Wouldn't be surprised at anything that happens though.

these are rollbacks that moderators keep using

it seems just keep rolling it's self back... almost like whoever was forced to cross it over to google wanted it to keep going back to a better time...

I mean, it's far from the first error involved with the forced "update"... but I don't see this one going away on windows 10 like the broken UI elements, this is totally on steams end.

are you implying that they're server is sensing that I'm using windows 7 and repeatedly sending me the same notifications to harass me?

because my system isn't sending me steam notifications.
