That's odd to say the least. Probably their bots are broken or something.
If you're just talking about notifications...yeah, those have been pretty broken ever since the new UI. People have been begging for Valve to fix all the new UI bugs since before it was released to the stable/normal branch. No fix in sight for any of that stuff.
I seem to be stuck in some sort of time loop where it sends me support notifications and such >.>
If you can't get stuck notifications to go away, only thing I can suggest is clicking on the Notification bell button, then "View All" and the page it takes you to should have a button that says "Mark all as read."
Try that, and if that doesn't fix it...well, as I said, notifications have been the buggiest part of the new UI. It usually fixes that for me but it's not working for everyone. Valve should have honestly just kept this new UI in the beta client for a lot longer before releasing it to everyone. It's clearly not stable yet lol.
agreed tho, it's totally broken and they shouldn't be pushing it IMO.
I mean, it's far from the first error involved with the forced "update"... but I don't see this one going away on windows 10 like the broken UI elements, this is totally on steams end.
and so close to snickersween...
because my system isn't sending me steam notifications.
