Why No Steam Wallet Gift Cards Available In The UK Right Now?

Shame there is seemingly nowhere with Steam Wallets Card, so many games I've given up on buying because I can't get the Cards to pay for them. And before anyone suggests pay for it online by other means, nah, stuff that, the Cards were my preffered option, no Cards no profit from me Steam, bravo.

Simple question is there no store in the UK that allow you to buy a steam wallet code that be printed on a piece of paper receipt?

Incase there confusion, a steam wallet code printed on piece of paper then handed to you, is no different then buying a cardboard card where you have to scratch the security paint off, to see the code, both method requires you to enter code online on Steam via your account. Hence no difference really as the end goal is to get funds on account.

I have no idea how the European companies and stores operate in regards to Steam Wallet Cards, I live and purchase in the UK (Scotland) As far as I know from other comments here in this thread, you can hand over money for steam codes on a receipt for cash, why this isn't available here in the UK is the very crux of my OP. And as for Brexit, I feel it should have no bearing on buying some codes for Steam, even if it was a good thing for the UK, nothing against European peoples, but their government are undesirables in my opinion. But let's leave all that to a thread on politics somewhere else, eh? Let's focus on the lack of consumer service from Steam and/or these Stores in the UK. Why can''t we have the same options as the rest of the world?

well it looks like me and you are out luck and u.k. shops hate hard cash and no more cash for steam as of this problem we have in u.k.

That's what we need to find out, before we can get anywhere. Like I've said, the card itself is relatively unimportant, if the code comes on a receipt for cash that's all we need, why can't we get that like the rest of the civilised world? Steam seem to be tight lipped about this, it's time we got a proper answer.

Steam doesn't sell them. Valve has a 3rd party vendor who manufactures and distributes them.

As for the system of providing codes printed on receipts, that is handled by the retailers home office.
