Steam moderation team is a JOKE!

They banned my avatar because of player reports for a game, Picture was none offensive nor showed nudity, the reason they banned it? PLAYER REPORTS. yet these are reports from a game where people who get upset go on your profile and report you to make themselves feel better, Steams team would rather just follow a bunch of false reports then do real work and investigate the issue, I posted a help request saying how their own steam avatars on the point shop are 100% more explicit then mine yet are OK and then they replied with the answer "this photo is not a good fit" LOL what a joke, How can they even get away with this, they banned my account from uploading a new avatar now, A PAYING CUSTOMER who did NOTHING WRONG gets banned? not impressed

What I will say about it is that the photoshopping done on that lady in the bed(?) apparently wasn't good enough to pass the test of time.

IT was a woman who was covered in PAINT app to make her look like she was playing on a turn table with DJ club clothes. 0 nudity 0 sexual features, the anime avatars they sell on the point store are literally naked anime pictures, I contacted customer support saying all my reports are from a game that has people who report you when they get upset about being killed or farmed in the game, so they report profiles as a revenge thing. I even asked support to look at all reports and see how they are all from the same game. I also asked how my picture was offensive and they said "our team didn't think it was suitable" and banned me 3 weeks, I asked how I could be banned without cause and they said "not our problem we made our decision already" So to conclude this message my title is every bit relevant. TOTAL JOKE

Steam moderation team is a JOKE! I was warned and have had my comment removed for even briefly mentioning previous ban for use of official steam avatars and providing steam urls to some free Steam avatar selection.

someone said it was "inappropriate" . ya we know report abuse is inappropriate, so are some of the avatars steam provides it's users. but we don't see them removing those from use on reports do we?

From my experience, using only official avatars, and I still get reported and avatar banned.

Definitely they are not professional and they are very disrespectful in communication. For instance they accuse me that I did something, yet their evidence does not prove it. Not to mention they removed other evidence which can expose their wrong doing and they protect real culprits.
They do not do any investigation at all. They just willy-nilly ban people and when those people submit appeals, they just send them some generic response which does not address arguments. It could be they are just automated bots or real people who follow mindless simplified procedures.
No serious company would accept such arrogance and ignorance from their employees. But this is an effect when there are no consequences for behavior that shows a lack of good sense or judgement.

I jsut reported several accounts whose profile pictures promote mass killing. Wonder if they will complain on the forums when Steam Support nukes their profiles?

The Moderator Team has been doing stuff like this ever since 2020...

You either take the BS from them & just deal with it?
Or You go out of your way to cause Valve some trouble,
& refuse to leave them alone?

It's the only way your going to have any form of Enjoyment on Steam anymore...

You either are a target of harassment, or your the one doing the harassment...

Your choice...

But in the End? Valve isn't going to leave you alone just simply, cause you ask,
Woke People & Destructive Users are not going to leave you alone, just cause you ask...

You want to be left alone? Your going to have to break the Rules...

The easy way out is to just deal with the problems...

EXACTLY! extremely unprofessional and when you try and confront them with visible proof that they are wrong they just make excuses and respond with gas lighting replies. Steam support? more like steam dictatorship, amazes me how many people are actually defending a multibillion $$ company that takes a dump on everyone.

The never ending loop of corruption. Not sure about everyone else but It would bring me joy to see their forums flooded with similar posts like mine, They don't deserve to have anything more then that, just trash posts about steams trash moderators and trash corrupt system they use to further drive paying customers elsewhere .
