But that said, what SAM does is what you could do manually by accessing the Steam developer console. It is thus not bannable.
According to what I keep hearing people say about it, Valve does NOT care and it won't cause bans or other account issues.
For games like TF2 where achievement items get unlocked you will only get the item the first time.
Anyway, I choose the moral path, though you do what you want regarding SAM(or any other similar tool). Cheating in game though, thats still going to get VAC's attention(for games that have VAC).

Using SAM doesn't affect other players, it's you ruining your experience in doing achievements normally.
