My purchased games do not add up
Two days ago I bought two games. I had 766 and I should have 768
The games I purchased are Purple Place - Classic Games and Blue Wednesday.
Is it my problem or steam's?

What does it show in your Steam Library? Are they listed?

Both of them are marked as "Steam is learning about this game" So they will not show up or count for some stuff including the game collector badge.

edit more info here

Games will not even count that you own them if the Store Page says...
1. Steam is still learning about this game
2. Profile Limited
3. Free*

*A few free games will show up here and there, but 99% of them won't.

I currently have 734 games in my library, but Steam is only counting 415 of them.

Also games that have been removed/banned by Valve from the store, they too don't count for profile features anymore.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that one, but it explains why my count sometimes goes down.

Sometimes when shopping I come across a Store Page that has the note "This game no longer available" or something like that. So why does the Store Page still exist?

In those cases it's often the game developers/publishers that delist the game, but not remove the store page. Which is fine, since it's useful info and can still count for things like recommendations (you can still ignore the game or point out you have it on another platform, for example).

When Valve bans a game developer/publisher, their games get banned as well and Valve then also removes the store pages. Not the community hubs, mind, just the store pages.

Cool. Again, thanks for the info. You're extra helpful.
