Steam is promoting a page called "Game Devs of Color Expo". This is a page where they are giving extra promotion and thereby extra financial benefits to "people of color".

As everyone knows "people of color" means anyone who is not white.

It would be one level of racist to give this extra benefit to only 1 race. For example: Hispanic devs only. That would be pretty racist. It's another level of racist to include literally everyone except 1 race. For example: No Hispanics Allowed. That's even more racist.

That's what they're doing by promoting "game devs of color".... It's a page where white people are the only race not allowed.

And I don't wanna hear any cheap dumb opinions where someone says "We already have a white devs page. It's called the homepage."

No.... That's B/S.... People of color are allowed on the homepage, are they not?

Steam, are you openly admitting that people of color are denied access to your homepage and standard listing options when they make a game?

No?! That's not how it works? You are an inclusive company that welcomes submissions from anyone? That's what I thought...

So just to be clear.... You have one level of hosting and promotion of a developers game's that's available to everyone regardless of race... Then on top of that you have a promotional page that goes beyond that, and white people are not allowed.

Yeah, that's racist. I will not support a company that discriminates against people based on their skin color. I will happily continue to use the games I've already bought, and continue to add to the load on their servers. But my wallet is now closed to this company.

I encourage any other sane and rational people who don't think you can correct past discrimination with discrimination in the present, to join suit.

I don't even know why I'm arguing this pointless nonsense, but you clearly don't have access to my purchase history, as I just double checked, and since Doom Eternal I bought 6 games, refunded 5 of them for not running smoothly, and sent a 5th to a friend as a gift. So a total of one dollar thirty something cents, most of which went to an indie dev.

Not that it matters though, as my purchase history has nothing to do with your position in support of racist promotions, or the fact that I said I'm done supporting this company as of today.
