I don't think people would call it a win-win for the gaming community, we still remember Games for Windows Live. We don't need to say anymore...
You're quite in the minority here. I prefer my high end gaming experience.
Well, you're sincerely correct, that i am the minority, here. No question, and for understandable reasons. But the vast majority of gamers in the tens of millions, would love access to our Steam games thru other devices. I'm well in the majority there. It's a win win.
The job is not done until <your non-MS game goes here> won't run!
Good think Steam Link exist and allows you to stream games from your computer.
Which "tens of millions" of gamers can already do.
You literally have no idea what you're talking about when it involves technology.
Not only are you getting a very bad gaming experience from what most like. You're stuck at low resolution, have heavy input delay, and have to deal with drops and lag from said streaming.
And soon, you'll have to buy another Xbox, since the old Xbox one won't have the app support for as long as you'd be hoping.
There is no question, Steam, like Sony enthusiasts would go nuts. But as we saw with the A/B acquistion, it was going to happen, whether Sony players liked it or not. Today, the CMA accepted the deal, because that's just how business works.
And given, Steam is much cheaper than A/B, and the relationship MS has with Valve, and Mr Newells age, together with the fact Mr Spencer has had this acquistion in his mind, as recently diviulged, but going back many years, it's likely going to happen.
Likely launching next gen in 2028, reportedly. When they may even come out, with am Xbox Stream Machine.
Yes, Valve will change. Technology always does. And with Stream Gaming, it was only a matter of time, that i divulged a week ago here, before these disclosures start to close in on stream gaming, MS, and on Mr Newell.
Not sure why it's so hard to simply let all platforms be themselves and have their own advantages. Choice, that is what is best for gaming and gamers.
It's really ironic he talks about "keeping his games" while wanting a service that removes games making them completely unavailable unless someone buys them separately.
Not to mention, they is essentially 0 backwards compatibility for when older hardware breaks.
He's literally grasping at straws with things he knows nothing about.
I thought thats what it was all about from the get-go.
He beats the same drum and even when it seems like he isnt, that same beat comes shining through eventually.
Half of what he posts is uniformed nonsense and Im pretty sure the rest is his idea of trolling. He, much like the Unicorn, has stated blatantly that they are only here to troll until the timer runs out.
SELL this COMPANY, Mr Newell
You should give that idea a round or two.
What did Microsoft to Minecraft?
