And would do the same to Y?
Better not......
There's no need to buy it, Steam is not remotely close to be in problems and it's a good game distributor. Can we keep it like that?
EDIT: And, as the comment above says, there's already a MS store which distribute its games (if you can't get them here or in GoG, of course).
Hell NO!
Steam should stay as it is and its growing, a good easily navagatable platform that has multiple smaller developers on it and they seem to be supported, hell there are good games on here made by single or a hand full of people! Microsoft just does not do that!
Save it from what exactly...?
and we would have log in with Windows Live.
I'm excited to see what new pricing Game Pass will have when CoD joins the lineup this year. June 9th can't come quick enough.
Yes OP, as was said, i would think a "partnership" between Phil and Mr Newell in the next console make, would be a great idea.
Not to mention, i heard a rumor, that Mr Newell made an agreement with MS, that when he parted, he agreed that any issue that Valve encountered, MS would get the first option to buy the company. Don't know how true that is. And so if Mr Newell passes, MS will buy the compnay.
Source for that rumor as I heard a rumor which states that rumor is made up.
What i've heard is that Gabe is making offers to Mr Spencer to buy out Xbox's gaming division which has been failing and Mr Spencer has been binge drinking and seeing psychics to try to find a way out of selling.
