Steam Achievements not popping up?
Anyone else having this problem. i use desktop mode with big picture overlay.
i hear the sound, but not getting a pop-up in any game. they use to work about a month ago.

This started happening in the past month for me on a majority of games. I don't use big picture mode and it would play the sound but I don't see the pop-up anywhere on the screen.

i found in the other forums to switch to Steam Beta mode and it fixed it.

Well now that the official version is out, I am not getting any pop ups. I am getting them in VR with Steam VR but I am not getting the usual achievement popup in normal games...the achievements unlock, but no notification comes.

I can only say I see this randomly from time to time, it seemed like certain games showed the pop up, certain ones did not but I'm not sure.

For me the problem was an option disabled on game properties in steam. After enable "Enable the steam overlay while in-game" pop-ups were shown again.
