'GAME BAN' removal from my Steam profile page?

Qwik question really, i have a ban from Amazon games, New World specifically.. I was caught, using an auto fishing script/program. Not a problem accepting my ban, i deserved it. However does this now perma stay on my profile page? With a daily counter since the ban? I'm not arsed if so, badge of honour, it ain't, so obviously if possible i'd hide it or remove it, lol, just wanted to know more, might have missed an option or setting, as i could not find much info on the topic.. Well the game Ban has been there for 177 days already so it looks like it's gonna be there for a Loooooooong time. That's what happens to people who cheat in games.

yes it's a permanent mark and cannot be hidden even if you set profile to private

Yes. Game bans do not disappear after 7 years like VAC bans do. You would need to successfully appeal the ban for it to be removed from the profile.

No worries, thanks for replying so fast, suspected it was permanent, just wasn't sure....case of if can't do the time don't do the crime, i'd say, cheers again.

7 years VAC, ty didn't know, not ban from Steam completely, i thought?

Yeah, i tried to message them about it, see if i got 2nd chance, it's totally automated, ban was auto (EAC hardware ban) emails regarding my ban, all replies.. auto response, i even phoned website Amazons contact number to speak to human, no good..i 2k hours deep in game, haha, mainly why id thought try my luck at least..Accepted it in the end as i was pissing in the wind, plus guilty as sin...

VAC bans go invisible on profiles after the bans turn 7 years old. Only the account owner can still see the text. However, game bans remain visible to everyone, no matter what their age.

VAC bans disappear from the profile. A game ban like you have does not. It is a permanent mark and no you are not banned from Steam for either VAC bans or Game Bans.

You're welcome. Keep in mind just because VAC bans disappear from public view does not mean they are not permanent bans. If you receive a VAC ban you will never be allowed to play on secure servers for that game ever again on that account.
