Good... Maybe People will look at Sales a lot less, then...
--- Maybe it's the push we need against Valve...

Abnd yet you're still here after all these years.. They must be doing something right :P

Yeah, near monopoly on the gaming market. Not my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fault almost every multiplayer game needs Steam or one of the other trash clients nowadays.

and lets not forget..... its not really a steam sale...

its a devs and publishers seasonal sale on steam
steam can only suggest pricing... so its not really steams fault
that the sales are getting stale.... and relying on new users not being
aware of how things work year after year after year

steamdb is your friend people...
The joke is STeamdb confirms a few interesting things.
Game prices do drop. Even if the discount percentage doesn't. DOom 2016 has never had more than a 50% discount but that base price has been shifting.

i think your trying to make it a joke...

steamdb gives you information about pricing history...

and thats all you need to know if a game is a good deal
or a lazy cash grab... subjective of course...

i wonder why steamdb was created... was it because of depreciation deniers...

Has Steam sales really gotten worse? I do not get to check Steam as often as I'd like.

And some publishers are attempting to exploit that in expense of gamers. Like the ones who developed Stray.

That game still only enter sales worth 25% off at max. As if they built an AAAAA game and can not make bigger sales before 10 years after release date.

That triggered me and i will give that money to PRE-PURCHASE Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered instead.

No money for that type of "clever" pricing.
That's capitalism. They think it's worth that much. If you disagree you can do without it.
There's no taking advantage oif anyone. Its just a matter of 'is this game worth that much to you the prospective buyer?"

You're never going to get someone to willingly pay more for something than they think its worth at the time of purchase.
That's why the money on course for Stray will go for the game below. So much for getting a true Capitalist huh?

If you think that game is more worth your money at that price than Stray then that's yer choice. Other people may see it in the reverse.
