RTS games with CONQUEST type game modes

Conquest style game modes in an rts game tremendously increases game replay value for me, please suggest some titles which have this kind of Conquest type game modes in addition to the usual campaign. For example modern ones like dune and northgard have them...some old classics like the Warhammer rts titles used to have some...any other overlooked gems? Thanks in advance!

I just bought Medieval total war 2 def edition bit retro for some maybe i'm in first playthrough as bought it few hours ago.
Shogun total war I bought too both long ago and recently is another good title.
Mount and Blade warbands is a lot of fun. Totally up to you how you play it from a bandit to great warlord its up to you.

I'd suggest having quick look at youtube for their gameplay style and see if they fit with what you want.
I like Mound and blade warbands because you can be both hammering it out first person with the enemy or take a more strategical approach.

-I am not sure if they fit conquest mode for you.
