i have 101 achievements on xbox from sea of thieves if i boght it here on steam do i get all my achievements ?

I know from personal experience in Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo Infinte that my achievements on XBOX and my Halo career synced with Steam.

It's still up to the game, which is why Cathulhu suggested asking in the game forum -- it's more likely to find people there that know things about this game.

It doesn't even need log into the other DRM system -- some games will grant achievements when you load a savefile that should have them, but they are somehow not on your Steam account.

Some of those grant some but not all, likely depending on what's actually visible in the save file, and what's not. Like they might give you the achievements for completing chapters, but not achievements along the lines of "kill 3 enemies with one attack", because there's generally no need for a savefile to have this information.
