Music from a game I never played is playing in the background of ONLY Cookie Clicker.

Whenever I start up the game, this weird music starts playing that's not part of the Cookie Clicker OST, and it plays over the regular music. I checked and it's not a background program or in a different window. It ONLY plays when I start cookie clicker. I tried disabling all the mods I had installed and it still played. I thought that one of my mods HAD to be corrupted or something, that had to be the only explanation for it. But I found where it was coming from... A game that I had never even installed before called Planet of Lana had the same music in its trailer on its steam page. When I first started up steam Planet of Lana was in the popup with all the game promotions. I tried clicking on it multiple times but it never took me to its steam page. I gave up and decided to open DRG. After that I opened cookie clicker to idle as I played and the weird music started playing. Restarting Steam, restarting my PC... nothing works. It just keeps playing whenever I launch cookie clicker. I'm assuming this is just some strange Steam bug, and I cannot find a forum or anything discussing the same issue I'm having. I found out it was from Planet of Lana because it was in my "recently viewed" list even though I was never able to view its steam page.

Its playing in the overlay. The overlay now remembers what you were doing including the page you were on in the browser.

ohh, so that's what's causing it.

It's still strange to me why it only plays during Cookie Clicker though. Not a single other game does that.

Because you looked at the video in the overlay for Cookie Clicker.

Since they added the Notes feature, the overlay has a memory PER GAME. Thats why you arent seeing it anywhere else.

Because you looked at the video in the overlay for Cookie Clicker.

Since they added the Notes feature, the overlay has a memory PER GAME. Thats why you arent seeing it anywhere else.
