Buying DLCs Individually vs Deluxe edition

Ex: I buy the game first then all the DLCs later

If i buy all dlcs after buying the game does my game turn into a deluxe edition?

My resident evil 7 isn't a gold edition or whatever they call as I bought stuff separated

I think that if If you buy bundle that has game and dlcs together it will just charge you for stuff you are buying and does not having.
Now I know some games in general do have "upgrade dlcs" unless it is not specified in dlcs then it does not upgrade game....

Some bundles are tailored bundles that you pay for the parts you don't own at a reduced cost. You upgrade to the deluxe or whatever they want to call it.

Some others are ones that you pay a flat cost, no discount for owning any items in the bundle and you get only the parts you don't already have.

The other bundles are all or nothing, which means you can't own any part of the bundle if you want to purchase it.

You will get list where you will see for what they are charging you.

For example Bundle cost 15€ games price is 10€ and DLCs original price is 3€ but in bundle they cost 2.5€ each you will be charged only 5€ for both DLCs and game will not be bought since you already are having it on your account.

coOnly if dlc or it is stated that it is upgrade....
I think that it is just another version of game for example you buy "game normal version"
then there is "game deluxe version with 5 mega shiny horse armours"
and "game mega super version with all 2 DLCs in bundle"

You would not be able to buy "game deluxe" because it has content that is not sold separatly and you already have game.

But if you buy "game mega super" that has 2 DLCs you could since it is bundle and not single product and you would be charged only for those 2 DLCs with disunt...

Are you sure that title exists in the first place? Since Deluxe/Ultimate/whatever editions really are just game+all DLC nowadays, they tend not to get an own title.

Be aware I had Death Stranding regular game, then they pulled regular version of game and only for sale is Death Stranding directors cut.... but I got mine upgraded for free.

Be carefull on trying to buy same game twice I think that is not possible at all.

Personally in my opinion if you just want to upgrade it for some silly extra content just ignore it.... and just buy manually DLCs that you want.
