nice!,
but is there a realistic reason why are you looking on the specific first release of win 7?
the x64 from win 7 has Vulnerabilities (219), and thats the clean version without any security patches, so the data given by you i not really accurate to reality
What you're looking at, since know what you did, is Windows 7 pre SP1 exploits that are unfixed unless you update to SP1. Those are compounded with all the exploits in SP1.
Another set of empty information who no one asked for,
you never tould me that, and i never asked for it, i dont care about you at all, so why would i want to know or care about that what you chouse to do :D
No one declared anything like that, so stop taging other users when you having a self-dialog
Just curious, can you define what are you mean by "secure"?
When you install a new win 11 and open all firewall ports for all connections, are you secure because of the new system? or are you not secure because of making a stupid configuration choice?
An OS with a list of open CVEs longer than my arm that will all NEVER be closed. Thats not "secure" by any definition.
ppl make viruses and malware for os's and when the developer stops making security patches the vulnerabilities remain open for all malware to come in since it will never be fixed or locked again
so win7 will always be open to attacks and such that will never be fixed since its out of service and thus making it very insecure to use
so you only hurt yourself and others by using it instead of upgrading to an OS that still gets security patches
So just curious, can you define what a "virus" is?
And then tell us, what is more secure against viruses, a new OS with no anti-virus software, or a older OS with an anti-virus software thats "Up to Date" with virus definitions?
Your anti-virus software is mostly meaningless with a list of open CVEs longer than my arm. Its like saying "my house is secure, I have locks on my doors and that big hole in the wall where a truck went through isnt an issue"
You are terribly uneducated on this topic.
Windows 8 and newer ship with Windows Defender built in which these days is actually quite good anti virus and also used within the enterprise. and has improved a lot with the later Windows 10 builds.
so a brand new install of Windows 10 which is fully up to date as well will certainly be much more secure than a Windows 7 install that didn't get any updates for years and an anti virus won't save you from kernel level exploits
Tho realistically speaking, if you are a home user on Windows 7 then you won't really be targeted that much and the user himself is still the weak link in any system.
But security wise if we compare 7 to fully updated 10 side by side. then 10 easily takes the lead without any questions.
Then define what CVE is and how it is related to a virus
In this case the anti-virus software would be your automatic turret with a mashingun that shoots at any treat that comes trou that hole in :P
Sorry, but It seems you have no idea what a "virus" is at all,
or maybe you know and intentionaly refuse to anser the simple question, as you know it would make you argument useless :D
Nope, it seems you just a manipulative, you dont care about the truth, you just repeatin your agenda and refusing to comunicate, you did not respond to my questions at all, you playing around comunicating and continue dictating your agenda, what is lame...
you giving missinformation on the nature of what a secure system is, or even what a virus is and what are the security mesuments againt viruses. so there is no further comunication needet, as the interaction with you is less interesting than talking to a chat bot.
Its funny how you trying to play around the question, as i asked specific "a new OS with no anti-virus software" :D
you know exactly what it means, and that why you refuse to just answer the question,
the way you guys manipulative spread misinformation is disgusting,
i hope you payed well for it :P
