I can't get rid of the Jester award on my profile <ANSWERED>

I have many awards but somehow the Jester one still stuck on my profile. Do you guys know how I can get rid of it? It makes my profile looks bad.

Maybe you should hide your profile awards - at least for now until the troll has moved on.

AFAIK you can only award a profile a specific award once, although no idea if that is a time limit and haven't really tested it

Look at it this way. If you believe jesters are used maliciously, then that means you made someone mad enough at you to waste Steam points on you. Imo, just accept the points and enjoy the fact that in reality people jestering you is just helping you if you care at all about points for profile customisation. Awards also give you a tiny amount of profile XP for your profile level. And even if you don't care about all that stuff, it's points you can spend on giving someone else a "nice" award.

That's true, it's a modest hat for a jester. But when hovering your cursor on it, it looks really nice. Lots of attention went into all the details. I can see that.

The Jester award is just confirmation you are living rent free in someones head over an internet post...... it's basically a trophy. Enjoy it and use the points on fripperies.
