Merci d'avance

This will happen.
Just like it happened with dropping support for Windows 98
Just like it happened with dropping support for Windows ME
Just like it happened with dropping support for Windows 2000
Just like it happened with dropping support for Windows XP
Just like it happened with dropping support for Windows Vista

Now it is time for Windows 7 and 8. Both operating systems are at least 10 years old. It's time to move on.

The solution from Valve is known. No, there will be no other solution. I know this sounds harsh, but looking at the previous times Valve dropped support for older Windows versions, that's reality. Anybody who hopes or think Valve will offer anything else than what is announced is heavily clouding themselves in wishful thinking.

Your options:

There are a few things people can do:
- Update to Win 10/11;
- Switch to Linux;
- Multiboot;
- Use a config trick or other workaround to keep the Steam Client from updating and use it in offline mode on your Win 7;
- Go through local consumer agencies/lawyers and see if there is a legal way to stop Valve.

Dude.. Brain??? comparing windows xp, ME, 98.. with the powerfull monster of windows 7? are you Ok in your head??

Vista was not really a windows, it was a Test from microsoft to get windows 7.

Windows xp was good but extremly limited, so today, it would be a really bad O.S. but windows 7, 64 bits, with the possibility to go up to 128Gb of Ram, Ryzen 7 and a supported GTX or AMD Radeon and you can run any new modern game that doesnt run DX12...

So stop telling us that windows 7 is Old and bad and need to be changed.. it's all buisness.. $$$

Tell me what windobe 10 can do that windows 7 can't! No one has answere this question.
