Third party sites are always "use at your own risk", and truthfully most of them are various degrees of scam.

Best case Impossible scenario, you deal with that site directly and they get you your skins back.

Worst Best case, and very likely scenario is that your skins are gone forever.

Worst case scenario is your account get hijacked and you not only lose all your items and Steam wallet, but access to your account. There are guides on how to secure your account, I suggest you follow one and stay away from those third party sites in the future.

More like best case scenario, is that your skins are gone forever.

Worst case scenario, OP will be posting tomorrow about how his account has suddenly been hacked and he doesn't understand how this happened

It still baffles me how people use third-party sites and then SurprisedPikachuFace when something gets stolen.

I cannot fathom giving that much money to some shady skin site. Just...wow.

I think a lot of these sites try and maintain an air of validity by doing some degree of honest business. They'll pick one rich target to scam, and when they complain you have an army of other users who say "It works fine for me. IDK what to tell you."

It's like running a restaurant where every 10th customer gets mugged.

And now you learned a valuable lesson regarding greed and gullibilty. It's why decades old phone scams still catch far to many people in their web. It's why the well known Steam Discord Scam still entraps people into turning over their login credentials. It's why all these CSGO and TF2 scam sites are still up and running and making a profit hand over fist for the scammers. Until people learn to stop being greedy and gullible and exercise even just a bit of Internet Common Sense, a lot of these issues would be easily avoided.
