WTF？why stop supporting Windows 7？

I have many valid reasons for not wanting to upgrade to Win10.

For example, I have too many applications and games installed, it seems to be over 300~500, and if I were to upgrade to WIN10, there are too many programs that would need to be downloaded and installed, registered and configured again, which is quite a hassle and could take days.

And with my hardware running fine on WIN7 and games, there is no need to upgrade.

I have tried installing WIN10 as a second boot system and trying to use it, but it doesn't seem to fit my hardware, there is a noticeable reduction in performance on the same configuration, and I just play games, I don't need to upgrade for the sake of so-called security.

Forcing an upgrade would be like STEAM interrupting my game service, which is actually a violation of player rights, Keep at least one version for Win7 players that will be available for a long time and will not be upgraded, even if there is only a basic function to launch the game.

when I choose to continue using an outdated system it naturally means I can be held responsible for my choices, such as if the system is hacked or running a ransomware virus.

I don't know why, but there are quite a few people in the comments asking us to upgrade our systems in the name of caring about the security of our systems. Maybe I have another reason, not every player is in a developed country, for developing countries it costs more extra money to upgrade computers and hardware (I know some people will say that upgrading win10 is free, but what about hardware? The certainty of this situation is that Steam will no longer be compatible with Windows 7 some time after 2024, and Valve requires a system that meets their requirements to run the client. That's all the certainty we're going to get from Valve, and it's all we need. It's quite clear. You understand it, I know you do no matter how many times you shout Gabe's name into the night sky.

And again, as has been said hundreds of times by now, if you refuse to use a system that can run Steam there are other possibilities which I am not going to repeat because you already know them. Less certain options, which we won't know for sure at this time but those options have worked for many others in the past.

It happened because arguments broke out and it should have been locked a long time ago as the entire thread was one long argument. You can't change what's going to happen so there's no point in making threads trying to discuss it. Discussing it will not stop it from happening.

I was trying however to ask why the support topic said Google Chrome and not Chromium Embedded Framework, but they didn't thoroughly read my query. Because the two are different products, the latter being the browser engine designed for embedding into applications.

They always forget that you can see post history. You said that you were going to delete the account back in May. You're not going to delete it or you would have done so by now.
