Steam Chat Instantly Closed Bug [PLEASE FIX]
Annoying steam chat closing Instantly when trying to reply to someone doesn't matter if you're in game or not this has been happening to all of my friends and myself for about a month now.

The bug will happen randomly whenever it wants still hasn't been fixed and the only way to fix it at the time is to fully close down steam with task manager then will happen again the next day or few hours later.. lets get this viral so Steam does something about it they obviously still don't know! :emofdr:

"Getting it viral" isn't going to do a thing except annoy other users who are getting a wee bit tired of seeing people try to make Steam forums into Twitter- you want "viral", go there, maybe?

They *do* know about it, since people have been posting about it in the only place we have to post bug reports on Steam- the Steam Client Beta Bug Reports subforum- which can be used to report bugs in the Beta Client *and* the Stable Client: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/0/

You can post a bug report there too, if you like- and try to use the format they show you in the pinned thread (something that most people don't seem to bother reading...).
Or join one of the existing recent threads:

May I recommend YouTube drama channels or perhaps a certain farm involving kiwis to help you with this quest?
