Is it possibel to be banned from posting picture in chats?

Is there a way to know? Cause recently i tried uploading pics to friends in privat steam chats but it kept saying "failed to upload" so im not sure if its on my part or im banned.

You would know if you got banned by steam because your account
would be completely locked down.

The picture not uploading was either a problem from the file itself or steam bugging out.

The thing is it immediatly fails, before it would start to upload and maybe fail inbetwen upload or something but now its like the momoent i post it says fail to upload and other i ask multiple friends to post a pic back and they all could i also tried other pics i just can to seem to post a single pic anymore in privat chat. Just so theres no confusion i only mean privat chats.

It doesn't matter if it's private: chat isn't meant for anything that breaks Steam's terms of service *anywhere on their service* so if you're sending anything inappropriate - like you couldn't post it HERE - you cannot post it in chat either.

Their servers have been wonky lately so it's likely just that. But I'd strongly suggest that you remember that this isn't the place to post things that are nsfw no matter what part of the Steam system you're using to do it. It's their system and you agree to their rules every time you turn the client on.

Yeah, I'm sorry my knowledge pretty much ends there. At this point I would either contact steam support or use some other software like Discord, Skype, Teamspeak, etc.

Yeah i see but i just thought its privat chat and its not like i was spamming them or posting to them without their consent or whatever. But i do have to admit i did posted from nsfw stuff but they wanted to see too lol anyway tahts why im wondering.
