No steam icons on google search results?

Looking for a game on google since past few weeks returns generic globe icon. Not sure if this is the right sub-forum for this so excuse me. Thoughts? The issue also spans at least every chromium browser.

It's not just you. Probably a Google or Steam issue. It happens on Firefox too.

Thanks for the reply! Good to know it's not just me. I use firefox sparingly so I hadn't checked on there. I wonder why it's done this; my eye is already trained to look for that icon.

Looks like a Google issue. The favicon stated in the page source:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

Does exist at the specified location: https://store.steampowered.com/favicon.ico

I just verified that Bing results correctly display this icon.

Thanks! It does display it and other sites' when clicking the stacked dots for more options. Those ones are a different resolution icon. And the ones that display correctly are miniscule with a white border, and typically a square icon inside a white background circle. I really hope it can be fixed back to normal.
