Are there any little free sandbox games anywhere?

I've been browsing for a lil' sandbox game that's free, and can fit on my crappy af laptop. So, if anyone has any suggestions.

Debateable....

I used to play it a lot, but ran it with the old UI/Music & Effects from the original 1995 game. The modern stuff was... ehh. i agree that's not everyone's tastes, but it's FAR from confusing!

(Well, it might be confusing with the modern UI, i can't even remember what that looks like)

It's a good game if you can get into it, and IIRC it's quite highly modded too, so your bound to be able to add anything with mods if you desired...

Open TTD? Tried that. Done that. Been confused by that. Anyways, I used to have a Chromebook, and I played a game called TheoTown, which had a Sandbox mode, and that I really enjoyed. But as far as I know, this game don't got no sandbox in it.
